This gathering will provide an opportunity to personally connect with the key stakeholders and Copernicus Marine community, including partners, contractors and downstream users.
OceanPrediction kick-off meeting will be an interactive event centered on community building and the connection of different sectors and activities.
Connecting, exploring and advancing observation and ocean prediction efforts in a global context
The Laboratory will investigate the key elements required for the change we need to see targeting a predictable Ocean for our societies over the course of the UN Ocean Decade.
The second phase of the EU4OceanObs project (2023 – 2027) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a contribution agreement between the European Research Executive Agency and Mercator Ocean International. The initial project (2021 to 2023) was funded through the Partnership Instrument managed by the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments and implemented by Mercator Ocean International.
