Discover MARCO-BOLO, a project funded by the European Union, working to structure and strengthen European coastal and marine biodiversity observation capabilities, linking them to global efforts to understand biodiversity decline and restore ocean health.
The second phase of the EU4OceanObs project (2023 – 2027) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a contribution agreement between the European Research Executive Agency and Mercator Ocean International. The initial project (2021 to 2023) was funded through the Partnership Instrument managed by the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments and implemented by Mercator Ocean International.
