On 3 June 2021, the G7 Future of the Seas and Oceans Initiative EU Coordination Centre, the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance (AANChOR), H2020 projects Blue-Cloud, iAtlantic and AtlantECO joined forces to host a workshop on ocean data sharing across the Atlantic.
The second phase of the EU4OceanObs project (2023 – 2027) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a contribution agreement between the European Research Executive Agency and Mercator Ocean International. The initial project (2021 to 2023) was funded through the Partnership Instrument managed by the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments and implemented by Mercator Ocean International.
