EU4OceanObs side events at All-Atlantic 2021

EU4OceanObs will co-host 3 side events at the All-Atlantic 2021 conference that will take place from 2 to 4 June 2021. The All-Atlantic 2021 is a Ministerial High-Level & Stakeholders Conference that will take place under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in close cooperation with the European Commission, aiming to strengthen Research & Innovation cooperation across and along the Atlantic Ocean, from “pole to pole”. The event will be a step forward in the work developed by the All-Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance, bringing together Ministries, high-level representatives and ocean leaders, including researchers, youth, entrepreneurs, academics, and civil society.
The side events co-organised through the EU4OceanObs actions on the G7 Future of the Seas and Oceans Initiative and GEO Blue Planet will address global ocean data sharing and infrastructures, and monitoring and managing of marine litter and Sargassum in the Atlantic basin.
