The ECO Magazine released its special issue on UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development 2021 – 2030 (Ocean Decade), released in partnership with the IOC-UNESCO. EU4OceanObs is a proud sponsor of this important issue, which highlights on-going initiatives, innovative solutions, and debates across the globe contributing to each of seven societal outcomes of the Ocean Decade. The second phase of the EU4OceanObs project (2023 – 2027) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a contribution agreement between the European Research Executive Agency and Mercator Ocean International. The initial project (2021 to 2023) was funded through the Partnership Instrument managed by the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments and implemented by Mercator Ocean International.
